Amelia View Theater, Audio & Network Upgrade

Projection screen and front speaker arrangement in an Amelia View home theater
Real project photograph: the theater's projection screen and front speaker arrangement.

Project Overview

A large Amelia View home needed a substantial theater upgrade alongside updates to distributed audio and networking. Bold City approached the work as connected systems, considering entertainment equipment, music zones and Wi-Fi together.

The Challenge

Older distributed-audio infrastructure needed modernization. Theater equipment required integration and recalibration, while the home needed multiple access points. Each system had a distinct job, but its daily use depended on the others working well.

The Solution

The theater upgrade included an 120-inch projection screen, an Epson Home Cinema 3800 4K 3LCD projector and a Denon receiver. Bold City integrated the theater equipment and recalibrated the theater and audio system.

Sonos distributed audio modernized the music system, and multiple Ubiquiti in-wall access points supported the home's networking needs. Considering these systems together let equipment selection and installation follow the wider needs of the home.
